About the Owner
Shawna is the Owner and founder of That's Some Good Cake! She
holds a B.B.A. in Accounting from Prairie View A&M University. Her
career began as an accountant/auditor for a local accounting firm.

Shawna's passion for cakes began at the tender age of 4 when her
mother presented her with her very first Easy Bake Oven. Her joy came
from watching her father indulge in her creations during their weekly
tea parties. She continued on her journey by working at a local ice
cream shop during her high school years. There Shawna designed and
decorated ice cream cakes for all occasions.

Later in life, Shawna decided to register for a four-week class in cake
decorating simply for personal growth. The flavors and designs of her
practice cakes were well received by family and friends. Being led by
God, she officially opened for business in March, 2006.
